C47 Aircraft knitting pattern

With the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings being commemorated everywhere, this knitted aircraft would make a fitting tribute to your own post box topper or village display.
Knitted using double pointed needles & double knit yarn you can create your own C47 measuring approximately 17cm (6 3/4 inches) long and with a wingspan of 26cm (10 inches.)
We also have soldiers and a crochet aircraft.
